I’m KJ Stone — artist, poet, filmmaker, mentor, mother, and CEO of The Velvet Era.

I build worlds for the ones like me: the beautifully scattered, wildly expressed, fiercely feeling creatives who were never meant to colour inside the lines.

My work lives at the intersection of art, emotion, and honest power- through: cinematic offerings, poetic activations, raw storytelling, music, ceramics, workshops, and spaces where we remember who we are as creatives.

After years of rebuilding my life, raising my daughter, carving my own path with grit, art, slowness and a burning sense of destiny (can’t stop , won’t stop) — I created The Velvet Era as a home for creative misfits who refuse to shrink and refuse to ignore their bodies truth.
