I’m KJ Stone — artist, poet, filmmaker, mentor, mother, and CEO of The Velvet Era.

I build worlds for the ones like me: the beautifully scattered, wildly expressed, fiercely feeling creatives who were never meant to colour inside the lines.

My work lives at the intersection of art, emotion, an honest power: cinematic offerings, poetic activations, raw storytelling, music, ceramics, workshops, and spaces where artists remember who they are.

After years of — rebuilding my life, raising my daughter, carving my own path with grit, art, slowness and a burning sense of destiny (can’t stop , won’t stop) — I created The Velvet Era as a home for creative misfits who refuse to shrink and refuse to ignore their bodies truth.
